Lighthouse 500 sits along the coastal stretch of Jalan Pantai at Pekan Teluk Kemang, offering a mix of cafe comfort and seafood restaurant fare that appeals to both locals and travelers exploring Port Dickson. This spot feels like a laid-back retreat where families, couples, and small groups can unwind in air-conditioned seating after a day by the beach or nearby attractions.

The menu leans on familiar crowd-pleasers like fish and chips, chicken and lamb chops with chips, and a handful of local noodle options such as mee hun tomyam and mee mamak. These dishes come in generous portions, reflecting a practical approach to dining where satisfying hunger is as much a priority as taste. The fish and chips, in particular, stand out for their fresh preparation and balanced flavors, making it a steady choice for those craving a casual seafood meal.

Lighthouse 500 also has a sweeter side — the cafe includes a durian-themed corner alongside chocolate products, which locals and visitors might find interesting after a main meal or as a light treat. The waffles and milkshakes are noted for complementing the savory items well, offering a wholesome finish or afternoon pause.

Visitors can expect a relaxed environment that’s family-friendly, with air conditioning providing relief from the tropical heat. The setting works well for leisurely meals or casual meet-ups, especially during weekday afternoons or early evenings when the mood feels calm and unhurried. While food can occasionally take some time to arrive, this seems to be part of the rhythm here — diners settle in and enjoy the moment, whether reading a menu or chatting while waiting.

For those planning a visit to nearby Benn’s Chocolate Factory, stopping by Lighthouse 500 adds a nice dimension to the day, combining educational experiences with simple but well-executed food and local flavors. Overall, if you’re after straightforward, reasonably priced seafood and local cafe fare in a cool, roomy setting by the coastline, this place fits the bill without fuss or airs.

Everything we ordered was good and the portion was very generous. It was definitely worth every dollar. However, it took more than an hour for the food to arrive even when we were the only table of customers. Maybe good food comes for those who wait? Overall, will recommend this place. Recommend to get the waffles and mixed platter chop.

We stopped by this place called Lighthouse 500 to go to Benn's chocolate factory tour. We were delightfully surprised that we truly enjoyed our time there. From the outside one cannot guess what was in store. First of all, the tour was great. Ms. Mei was the one who brought us around and we learnt so much about Benns chocolate, how they support local coco farmers and how their chocolates are unique and have won international awards. We bought some Benns chocolates at the end of the tour, and they did not dissapoint. We then visited their Durian cafe. They sell cakes, and macaroons and heavenly waffles! We bought 4 waffles and they were to-die-for (the milk and dark chocolate was of really good quality and delicious, and it was nicely priced too. Didn't hurt our pockets at all. We plan to visit here again to buy Benns chocolate (because some can only be found here) and to get more of those wafflesss!!( InsyaAllah).

We were originally here for the Durian Raub but ended up getting some Chocolates & coffee. Excellent and truly unique local products, coffee powder and chocolates. Perhaps next time, we will try the cafe (the cakes and choice of coffee/drinks beckons). Definitely will come by again. And I do hope local or international tourists drop by here. Great stuff and recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
